I just may try horizontal with a "vintage" model, but sewers (vortex) don't seem to work sideways! I'm still trying to loosen Dekainca up, only one Fever so far. (But then that's what keeps me playing.) I really can see why New Sea Story is so popular, besides the theme, in an accelerated "flippers opening" mode, it really lets you play longer capturing more balls and speeding through to the next fevers, 4 so far in the space of say 3 or 4 nights play.

The Japanese government may be "trying" to curb gambling addiction, but letting a machine flash a light, making you play for hours because you think you're in a superiour odds position, well that's just down right insidious! No wonder these vertical sphere mazes are so addictive. My family has no idea why there are stacks of balls in neon trays stacked behind my chair... I think they're going to commit me!

Each step in to the "pachi" world, also leads me deeper into my past and the whole realm of slots, penny arcades and gamblng machines. I nearly purchased a penny arcade bowling game. And I was supposed to drive to Montreal today to pick up 3, yes 3 (1 working 2 in need of some love) UK fruit machines from the 80's ... oh I'm hooked BAD! Out damned spot out!
