Star Wars "Chance" Button

O.K. - I have had this game less than a week and have been playing the hell out of it. Only matched a few times (UGHHH - guess the luck has not hit yet?).....Anyway, What does the "Chance" button do on the shooter's try? Will it light up when I need to use it or what? Need so help from the gang.....Besides not really hitting anything yet, It's very addicting and I love this machine !!!! Thanks...

Yes it will light at up at random times when you get a couple of "chance" games, these will involve either Darth Vader (have you heard him breathing yet?) or R2D2.

I have heard him breathing and he flashed in the background? But, the chance button did not light up? Should it have?

Not necessarily but you're getting closer to it lighting up.

When Vader Breaths...a ball must get into the start pocket. The timing is critical. On mine, a ball must enter the start pocket the second he shows up. Then it takes me into another game. Either a card game(matching) or a saber fight where he will stop the reels when you hit the chance button.

The chance button is also used when trying to shoot down Vader in his ship.

The journals are down at the moment becuase they are unfortunately not compatible with php5 which I just switched us to. Now, I've managed to clear all but that last error. I'm lost as to why that particular code isn't happy in the php5 world though?

Well I think I found it. The journals are at least coming up now. Give them a try and let me know if you run into any errors.

Funny, I was wondering the same thing. The chance button does light up in attract mode but it's never come on at any other time. I'll use it to shoot down tie fighters and it seems to work but it never lights up. Could this be one of those model things? ZF chance buttons don't light up?

Mine lights up when I can shoot down a fighter and it's a ZF model.

My ZF model Chance button also lights up during the Vader or Tie Fighter reaches. As a footnote, the Chance button also lights up briefly after a power up. Pressing it then starts the door lamp test routine. Watching for it and using it then would be a good test to make sure that yours is working.
