Default Are all newer Pachinkos Limited to a 4 spin Cache?

I was wondering if all newer style pachinko machines only allow up to 4 "spins" for the center pocket. I was playing LOTR's and noticed that after I get 4 spins saved up. I only get ball payouts for every ball that lands in the main pocket and lose the spin chance. So what ends up happening, is..I wait for the spins to catch up to about 2 in the cache before I continue. But sometimes you get 4 balls in a row to shoot down the hole, and you miss out on those spin chances.

4 banked spins is the max.

If you can get 4 balls in a row to go into the center pocket, you're a better shooter than me

depends how loose your machine is........I personally don't like em that loose, as I like a challenge !

I can rarely hit more than 4 in a row on most of my machines set up, but it does occasionally happen...

Four has almost always been the max since the beginning of digital pachinko.

so is it better to do one ball at a time, or rapid fire? Seems to go in different sequences more often if I do continueous, and balls keep going in the pocket even while the video is going. could balls going in the pocket during a video seqence determine the outcome of the video? cuz it seems if I go single ball at a time, i never get any advanced video or close Frenzy spins.

There is something to be said about that!
I too think that the odds change when you have 4 spins banked.
Seems to me that most reaches and bonus rounds occur when the bank is full. BUT only on the digital machines.

This is true, but don't overlook the PRESS button on many newer games* which, when the player has 4 games banked, will light and and when pushed repeatedly will instantly show the results of up to all 4 banked spins. This action depletes the spin bank so that additional balls through the start gate will be banked.

The careful player will use this feature to make sure ALL balls through the start gate will trigger a reel spin. When you are in the groove, landing numerous balls in the start gate, then try to keep the spin bank from maxing out while balls are still in play.

*Sakura and Thunderzone games have this feature.

I usually rapid fire until I have four banked spins. Then using the button to stop the shooter and going into a 6 ball rotation to keep the spins going. I don't mind getting to 2 or 1 spin left but I want to keep it spinning. If I don't make any while those four are depleated, then I rapid fire to 4 again and start all over.

Also using a 6 ball rotation is not nearly as noisy and I can enjoy the spin sequences more than if I constantly rapid fire.

LOTR's button is located on the lower left side of the entire cabinet, it's a translucent white button that should light up red when you first turn on the machine. I don't think it has any use during gameplay IIRC though.

The only bummer on the machines with the skip feature (some Heiwa games you wave your hand in front of) is that you miss the big video buildup to the fever...my daughter did this on her Pretty Band once and missed the whole elaborate show
