Sea Story 2 - Not working, out of the box

Just unpacked it and plugged it in.. and no go Filled hopper, turned it on and video goes but no sound.. tried to put in some tokens and they fall through.. I went through the whole reset procedures and it just does the same thing

Anyone else get theirs from Milt yet? any probs?

P.S. This is the new all blue Sea Story which is why I called it SeaStory 2.. I have the original Umiiban as well..

Talk to Milt , He will make it right , and check all connections inside as some may have came loose , Milt is one of the best in the bus and dont worry just contact him and all will be good

Have you checked all your connections, the machines get bounced around a lot in shipping. also make sure your reels and all your boards are mounted properly.

is it on free play, press the joystick to make sure, check your coin ramp and connections too.

First of all "Don't Panic"......I always wanted to say that. Don't worry, what ever the problem is, it will be resolved. Milt is one of the best. I seem to remember someone here had the same problem several months ago. They posted how to resolve the problem somewhere on here.

I received my "New Sea Story :" from Milt today.
It looks great ,the color is candy apple blue. Nice LCD screen!
Out of the box works GREAT.

Well since the coins are falling through and you have yet to spin the reels or register coin in, then there wouldn't be any sound. So the problem has to be with the coin mech. Check and make sure its plugged in tight. Take the coin mech out and make sure its clean and free of gunk and lint. Also try the tokens in another game to see if the tokens are the problem. Like everyone said don't worry about, I bought a few games from Milt and he will make it right, even on his specials with no warrenty. BTY it is a great looking game I wish I would of bought one.

Yea I just found out last night after 10pm and worked today at 9:30am so havent had time to call nor did i figure anyone would be in by the time i could make a call (now at 8:30 pm) Will call monday when I'm off but figured I'd check on here in case it was an easy fix since i have people coming for Poker and wanted to show it off Sunday night

lets see what we can do to get you working .....exactly what is it doing ? is it in attract mode or is it in a menu or possibly a setting screen ? you need to be a little more specific from the looks of it the lights are on on the stop keys they shouldn't be lit at this time. you might try swapping out the reel stop board (or relay card ) almost all machines use the same board so if you have another machine give it a try .

With my techs out, I thought I'd try checking the coin mech area...here is what I just PM'd... Garrett, Sorry for the troubles. If everything else is working, the problem must be with the coin mech. 1st, make sure you are using our tokens, 2nd, take the coin mech out of the machine, disconnect it from the computer boards and check for loose or broken wires. Replug it back in and then try a hard reset. Let me know if that works. Milt ..With the holiday weekend, any and all suggestions will be appreciated. The only info I have is what you all have so maybe we can get Garrett working? Thanks All...
