The Taiyo machines ( a personal favourite ) seem to be getting much harder to find ( Apollo was re-issued so much easier, Penguin really difficult...... )......although Thunderzone was very easy to pick up ... overall not that much more pricey than buying here...... however, thats before I get a good rodgering by customs of course........

Then I'll get my wall cabinets finished......

Then I'll get my floor cabinets designed and finished...

Then I might have a little play....

Then its Photo and review time.......hmmm I've been thinking of a good use for my personal web space.......

There are many newer and flashier machines than a Thunderzone, but that remains my favorite Pachinko!

I find the apollo very annoying with that catch going back and forth all the time. It's too noisy to leave the machine run if you're not planning on playing it.

Hello Big S. Looks very much like we have developed the same taste in Pachinko machines. I started with LCD machines, but now my interest is in non-LCD ones. I, too, have ordered a Gachinko from Nik (really helpful guy), and now have the aim of collecting all of the "Maturi" machines from Taiyo.

I actually really like Gachinko 7 .... the only downside is the YMCA tune, but as it only plays for part of the fever round its not that bad......

It has a superb light show, and the music even at normal play level sounds like its straining to get out of the case..... the further you play it just gets louder and more intense, and when you get to the major reaches and the bell starts clanging cut with sort of anime style sound effects .......goodbye neighbours!......its a bonkers machine alright but thats why I like it.....

I'd definitely like to get more of the older Taiyo classics ( the newer ones will have to wait ! )
