I did find that there are 2 tracks into the motor. Both are pushing balls. I got the lower front door open and saw no obstructions. I attempted to get the motor open, but had no success. I do not have the right screwdriver. Looking at the motor from the outside though, it appears okay. When we put the motor back in and dropped balls down the center payout chute, the motor did nothing. I dropped a dozen or so balls in the payout chute and saw and heard no movement from the motor. Does that mean the motor is bad? Or is it a sensor issue? Once again guys, thanks for all the help. If I have to call Imatrix to talk about this issue, I will do so with MUCH more knowledge than I had before this thread!!

Again, do the balls you drop into ANY pay pocket eventually drop out the back of the machine?

Yup, they fall right out the back of the machine. Sorry, forgot to put that in my last post. I get more confused every day!

did you also try manually turning the motor ( there is a screwdriver slot on one side ) ...... ive had a motor jam against a ball in the wrong position once, and had bits of carpet fluff etc in there.......make sure it turns freely ( then I blow mine out with an air duster )......

I don't think its a payout sensor, as all pockets are affected at once....its not the ball sensor is it ? when you have balls in the hopper there arent any warning lights showing on the upper case are there ? i.e..... the motor thinks it has balls to pay out doesn't it ?

The motor comes out with a push of a level no tools are needed.
Lever is on the left push back and the motor will slide that way.

If the payout motor isn't working, isn't there an error light?

1 Main board signal not yet connected
    2 Pay-out unit abnormality
    3 Pay-out count switch abnormality

Not a good translation but maybe better than nothing.
One, four, and five might not be exactly right.

Thanks to Bryan, Pachi_Sloter for the translation

From that it looks like there should be a 2,3 or 4 if the payout isn't working.
You don't suppose the payout sensors have been removed?
