I've been intrigued by the eBay references to Allwins when talking about some of the Maturi machines such as the Penguin and Apollo, so I did some digging but fail to see the connection. If anyone can enlighten me, please do so.

In any case, these links make for some very enjoyable reading, especially the first link. This web site is incredible and the loving care focused towards these facinating machines becomes very evident. Be prepared to spend some time so perhaps save this ritual for a Sunday afternoon with a cup of coffee, or tea and crumpets.
