Hopper not 'holding' balls :O

Hi all,

Had my LOTR Pachinko running for about an hour now. Started well, had hopper full of balls. Was paying a few out every time I got a ball into the 'tulip' on the table. I then put my hand around the back of the machine to get some 'used' balls from the tray, and must have knocked something. The hopper dropped a good 200 or so balls, making one hell of a racket.

Now when I add balls to the hopper at the top, they run straight through part of the mechanism and out into my 'dead ball tray'.

Theres still some balls in the mechanism itself, in a different compartment to the one the balls are now running through on their way into my dead ball tray. These balls are not paid out when I get a ball into the 'tulip' and start the LCD reels spinning.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the diverted that sends the balls to the jackpot supply or drops them to the bottom, for when you want to clean out the machine.

Usually a little metal gate on the right side (when looking at it from the back) just above the jackpot supply.

Push it back in and try a couple of balls at a time to make sure they don't drop through before filling the supply tray.

Sorted, decided not to go out until it was working, I've learned not to play with complex electronics when I've had a few beers

Little black plastic clip which moves back and forth, at the top of the mechanism, wasn't staying in position.

It is now, and not because I've held it in position either!!

As far as the balls in the one compartment not paying out when you hit a "tulip", that side probably is activated by a different pocket... for a different count.

Try some of the other pockets and watch.
