Ah, more to it than just a switch then? I haven't read the entire thread yet, I just skimmed it.

Edit: Okay I just read through the thread. It does look to me like all you do is wire a switch inline on one of the wires running to the start pocket, unless I'm missing something.

What are the wires connected to the second connector going to?

Interesting way to make it work. Those are the battle counter connectors, the first is the start pocket (spins), the second is the secondary start pocket (when the wings open).

I suspect that the battle counter connectors have been disconnected from their original circuits, and are now being used as a convenient 'patch panel' for the wiring to the autoplay mod.

Without dismantling the thing, that second set of wires is very taught and running behind where I can see. Maybe Arby can offer some insight.

you need a normaly closed button
on the in the center is a yellow connector with a pink and yellow wire to it (two wire connector). your machine on, unplug than replug in, the connector and you should get a spin cycle (if not wrong connector), if it does.
You cut one of the wires and splice in the NCButton and every time you push the button it racks up a spin, till four.
To get fancy just use your imagination.

Arby, isn't the yellow connector the one used in Logicprobe's mod, not the two connectors you use in your mod which are white?

Well thanks to Logicprobes great instructions and parts I stole....I mean borrowed from work. I have put auto play switches on 3 pachinkos so far. Star Wars, Back to the Future and Saint Maria. All work great and were real easy. It was no harder then putting in volume controls.

    I had a thought.
We know that the parlor buttons on the front are useless for home use.
They are normally open switches, connected to a small circuit board that has to stay connected so the machine works.
How about taking that small circuit board and moving it someplace out of the way, say hot gluing it to the inside wall of that hollow area you are working in.
Then mounting a normally closed switch in its place so when you hit the parlor button it depresses this switch.
I only bring this up because I did it on the Lassen World machine I have gotten for my Daughter for her Bday. And it works like a dream. And I don't have to worry about a box on the end of a wire when moving the machine around.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pics. This was done on the new Hiewa metal frame. It will be a little different on each frame for sure, but with a little hot glue and maybe a little bit of dremelling you should be able to do this on most any machine. Then you have a cheater button that is hidden and out of the way.
I plan on trying this on a couple of other frames to see how it goes. Vacation is over and I'm back to work tomorrow, so I don't know when I will get to it. But I will try and remember pics on the next ones.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

on the lumina frame the start spin pocket is a yellow connector, on other machines this color can be different. having the machine on just unplug the two wire connector till one starts the spin mode on the screen.

    I hope this helps

This is an easy mod, you might need to lengthen the wires to the new switch, keep in mind the slack needed to open the door I forgot about this the first time. and broke the first switch. I put on the same side as the hinge, to keep the wire manageable.
