    Default Memoryu resetu.......?

When I power up my Batman, I get a lady saying "Memoryu resetu" several times before play starts.....

Should this happen every time ..... ? Or do have a problem with the memory being retained ?

    Cheers

it may be a weak capacitor, some machines don't hold memory as good as others.

Tulsa has a Batman, I'm sure he'll chine in

now what was the question again

Hmm, I hung mine upside down in a dark damp cave back around the time Star Wars got here. I'll have to go and fire it up.

Not sure what your's is saying about memory but mine is complaining about being without it's balls.

My Rocky does that whenever I do a full reset. It will keep saying something about memory until I let go of the buttons. Maybe a button is stuck

I guess an Adam West joke would be bad at this time

Actually I got the Batman out again and she doesn't say what I thought.......

Firstly there is a jingle sound and then all the case lights come on.......then she says something like..."memoryu crearu shimasta" about 8 times in a row..... then jingle again and all the case lights go off.....

This has happened every time since I bought the machine, and then it plays normally......it doesn't make any difference if balls are / are not in the hopper, and the resest button doesn't seem to make any difference.

Can someone else who owns a Batman power up and see what happens ? Is this normal for the machine ? It was only my second machine, so I didn't think it was a potential problem, up until now..... ?

    Hope someone can help ......

    Cheers

If left off too long, my Thunderzone, Neo Magic Pulsar, and Bang Bang Dash will yell at me when I turn them on. The slots need a soft reset, and the Thunderzone stops on it's own.
I think this may be an alarm type of thing letting the parlor know that no power was on in that machine for awhile? Or they could just be posessed and crave constant attention.

If left off too long, I think that all Heiwa models will do it.

Mines not holding any memory at all ....... even if I leave it powered on for most of the day, it still clears the memory on start up..... I tried shutting it off just after a fever in chance mode... on other machines, you can power down and then jump back in , but again the memory cleared and lost the fever.....makes no difference if I leave it hooked up to the power or not

Anyone know which game board holds the memory ? wonder If I could pick it up as a replacemnt part from japan ?

No I could not remember how to spell it, but I did remember CR By-pass.
They can be snotered up two ways, some work on both some don't.

Thought it would be worth a try
