Default Surge Protector or Machine Switch?

I have seen in some threads that some turn their machines on and off via surge protector strips. Is this safe on the machines? I turn all of my machines on individually when I get to my place and also turn them off when I leave by their switches. I have seven machines in the gameroom so you can see it can be a small chore. They are plugged into surge protector strips so would it be ok to just turn the strips on and off leaving the machine switiches in the on position? Is that similar to what is done in the Parlors?

Turning the machine off via the power strip (with a surge protector and built in circuit breaker ) is the only way to go !!! it won't harm the machine their made to be able to handle power failures so this doesn't harm them at all .the only adverse effect is if power isn't restored for a great amount of time , the machine looses its settings and you'll get an error on start up on some machines .but this can be fixed with a full reset and your up playing again . if your machine has a transformer added then this is the only way to fully shut down your machine since there is no off switch before the added transformer and it will remain hot 24-7 if you don't there are a few safety concerns that should be addressed if you have one of these machines and want to run it 24-7 but they've been listed many times in other threads just do a search for transformer and you should be able to find them . if not message me and ill be glad to step you through them .
