I've only played the Robo Cop but will say its a good machine. The playboard is a little dark and the videos do get repetitive but it is a good machine. I'd rate it an 8/10.

I have 2 machines on your list, Fever Magic Party and Thunderbirds II.
Fever Magic Party is the better of the two.

i have thunderbirds ,thunderbirds redcell, bruce lee, Moujyou and mermaid they are all quite good machines but bruclee is realy only for the die hard brucelee fan or pachinko player it has a great light show thunderbirds i liked a bit more with a real good lightshow and videos to mach but the lairy case loosed it down for me Moujyou is fall on the floor funny it realy is with an interesting playfield with electic spinners on and is an interactive game as is mermaids out of all of them id go for Moujyou as it may be a stingy machine with the payouts but still makes me laugh and never fails to show me somthing new when i fire it up and demo it

robocop as an animatronic figur in the playfield that activates on fever rounds like the thunderbird 4 model that is animated on thunderbirds
My rice krispies told me to do it

Gnerally speaking nost of the machines play in the same way with similar levels of interactivity ( its only later models that have really improved in this area )....and from the list there aren't and special play types like Apollo / Penguin etc......so bottom line is go with whatever theme takes your fancy......

If you like movie themes then Robocop, racing lets Go circuit etc.... etc... just go with what you piques your interest......Sea Story is reputedly one of the all time favourites, but it doesn' do it for me ......

I just pircked up 2 from Nik ( Lets go circuit ..... cos I love Japanese custom cars and drift racing etc, and Gachinko 7 ' cos its Taiyo and absolutely bonkers in terms of lights, bells , sound effects etc........) ...... however if these are your fist machines then be careful, as there will be a little fiddling to do to get them up and running, as they haven't been prepared for sale.......still you'll find plenty of helpful advice here !

    Good luck

    Big S,

I too have taken up Nik's offer and bought 2,Be Bop and Gachinko Seven, its a great offer if your prepared to sought them out,as you rightly point out, should'nt be too much of an effort though to get them ready.....

They are much easier to store than Pachislo's,so they can be moved about easily.

Big S,maybe you could post a photo or something, once you've got them,so members that might be interested could see what condition they would be in ect:

You won't be disappointed buying from Nik.

He's a genuine guy and will help you any way he can.

I personally like Magic Party. It takes a moment to 'warm up' (see Lord of the Rings threads - same manufacturer) but the talking tree (Japanese obviously) always makes me smile.

If I had the money :sigh1: I would snap one up!

I'll have to wait until Gachinko 7 gets here, as I have already checked and re-assmbled CR lets Go Circuit......

machine was well boxed, and realtively clean , however, it came with 4 or 5 of the boards loose on the back, and also the feed motor unit loose...... nothing broken , but it meant carefully stripping off all the rear boards and re-seating them, then cleaning out the motor and ball track to get it working. I don't mind this, but total noobs may be a little put off......just need to fit pots to the speakers, and adjust the nails, and I might get to play it tomorrow.......

Stig Bubblecard, You are a member of a new nation, Pachination

The concept of PachiTalk was to bring together anyone and everyone who has a passion for these amazing Japanese creations. Once you stepped through the doors at PachiTalk.com, you become part of the Pachination.
You are no longer Japanese, American, English, Italian, German, etc. (If I missed you I am sorry). You are now considered a Pachinational, put that on an application! We are all one big entity amongst ourselves and our Pachis. Segregation is not our philosophy and the seperating of diffent cultures will not happen, we are one, under the Pachi Flag.

We are the United Nations of Pachiland....

    Hi all,

Well I have decided to go for a Robocop machine after watching the videos of it! It looks good fun and should be nice next to my Neo PlanetT and Super Black Jack Pachislo's!

I read that it is a cyclic machine on the museum is this correct? I did a search and found the question asked but it was never answered.

I'm starting to think i'm getting hooked to these things now!!

    Cheers

    Jon

All pachinkos start off as parlor ready. Cyclic is a mod that is done later.
Most of the machines for sale are parlor ready. Very few are cyclic. Odds are that the one you buy will not be cyclic.

If you are buying from nic at just pachinkos then i can guarentee that it will be parlour ready as nic will not buy in cylic machines to start with as he looks at it like me that you can convert it if you wish but it is very hard to convet it back from cylic to parloure ready
My rice krispies told me to do it

The best way is to figure out which parts actually get cut up and glued upon. THen just get those parts vendor, make your cyclic mod with those and you can change it back if you want to.
Arby was kind enough to help me out on that with my Spiderman Neo.
