Okay guys sorry I had to go to a class today but will post pics tomorrow. It does have a key for the reset but it will only turn right not left, the limiter switches underneath, should be in which positions? Also sometimes the reels will just spin w/o the stop lights ever coming on to stop the reels. I will make a dedicated thread on this machine tomorrow as I don't see a current one in the searches if thats okay w/ the mods?

your joystick may be sticking and not centering, i loosened one up by spraying some contact cleaner on the shaft.

what lucky said is probably your problem or one of your buttons is stuck use a paper towel soaked in windex to clean each button while pushed in around the edges and squirt a little at the base of the knob and move it up and down while wiping it clean hopefully it will take care of the problem . if not you may need to take apart your knob and lubricate it but try cleaning it first.

remove the stick by unplugging the wires and taking the large nut off the back.

there is a small pc board on the back, it may be loose.

the stick can be taken apart checked and the contacts can be cleaned cleaned

but, it could be a button problem also, that can be removed and checked too.

Allright took a long black plastic tube off which has yellow, black and red wires that go to a terminal. Saw the end of the Joystick cleaned that cleaned the but end of plastic housing that the wires protrude and the but end of stick rests against, still nothing, am I missing that board you talked about is it inside the plastic housing or near the joystick housing still

If you are getting an error screen then you need to figure out what the error is before any of the other controls will work. May sure you do not have any tokens jammed in the coin mech and that the hopper spins correctly. You might need to do a full reset in order to clear the error.

    Regards,

    Chris

I used to have an IRE-GUI (actually it was a BAKU CHO...earlier revisio of IRE-GUI) and I recall something like you are talking about that was displayed during an error.

Wow I think may have been it! Cleared all tokens out out em all back in cept for like 20 and it works great now! Every once in a great while the stop buttons go out temporarily but that seems to be the only thing I can notice out of the ordinary. Thanks again guys for all your help!

Went to mount the machine last night, same thing again!! Put it back on the table, went thru ALL the tokens found 2 quarters, took em out works like a charm! The kid hit a bonus round and won 127 medals, he was beside himself to say the least.
