Hey guys, this is coming w/o a key, being a newb at something all over again I asked him for a breif how to summary. Does anyone here a key for a pachislo and a pachinko while we're on the subject for sale rather give the biz to a member here. Also anyone have any links to mounting cabinet like I made for star wars? Its coming w/ 300+ tokens shoul I shop for more awhile? The auction also said he was using real money w/ a cardboard mod? Thanks guys!

and for the use of this slot with out the key I have taped it so that the door wont lock when its shut. All you have to do is plug it in and play there is a way for you to get the sound down by turning the inside key I forgot what way but you can try it untill it works then it will bring you to a main menu and you will see a music note I think thats what it is and then just keep moving the sound up or down if you cant find that then just undo on speaker it plugs right back in.

you could drill a hole in the case and attach a flexable wire to the door release latch.

then just a pull on the wire would unlatch the door.

It doesn't look like you will have any kind of warrenty on this

I hope everything turns out ok for you

Machine arrived today! Wow these things are big! Everything looks great on the outside. BUT You guys may be right lol. I plugged the machine in and nothing. I sent the seller an email thru ebay messages. I looked at the auction again and the dude is no longer an ebay member why me lol. I am assuming, hoping there is an on/off switch? LD I hear you 100% on drilling a hole seems like a great idea will look at that tonight when I get home from work. I will be sure to post pics tomorrow guys. Thanks again!

edit: on the hole do I want to favor it above or below lock level thanks!

yes there is an on-off switch inside on the power supply..just need to reach inside to lift the latch so you can open in.

    Good Luck,

    Chris

There is a on and off switch inside. Check the back of the machine for a hole that is large enough for you to put your hand in (You may have to remove a vent screen) and unlatch to front door. You should see an on/of switch on a box in the lower left in the case. Hope this helps.

there is a brass colored bar inside the door with two latches, one toward the top, the other toward the bottom.
all you have to do is lift one of these to open the door, they are connected together.
a hole in the top of the machice with a wire going to the top latch should do the trick, then all you would have to do is pull the wire to open the door.
if you don't want to try replacing the lock.

thanks again ld, it is starting to sound better though just got this email from the seller

I taped the door from the in side you should just be able to pull it open
from the coin thing the power swicth is on the inside of the machine if it
locked then you can use a coat hanger and go from the hand holes and try to open
it or take it apart it happend to me before. Ebay closed my account for 7 days
due to a non paying bidder that they think was me but they lived in MO and me In
    NH.
sorry about that it looks like I back out but I asure you that the slot works
100% I will be back on ebay in or around 5 days.

I'm a little late on this one but if you would still like a key, email Gaku at bigbear. I believe he replaces all of the locks on the machines he gets, he might have an extra for you.

DaStooge is right, check with Gaku. Reaching through holes to unlock a Pachislo is tough. Besides, many machines use the key to do a soft reset when turned left.
