Is it legal to ship a Pachinko from USA to the UK ?

I was told by one of the vendors in the USA that law prohibits them selling a Pachinko to the UK.......is this true ? or are they simply not interested in the sale ?

Hi,

Strange as it sounds it is true ... There is a new law called ROHS which prohibits electrical items that contain a certain amount of lead, nickel and cadmium etc etc without it being tested fully and certificates obtained ( If the item is coming from anywhere outside of Europe). To bring anymore machines in i have to get that particular machine tested for ROHS compliance and to make it cost effective will have to bring in 200 of the same machine per container ... Lucky i have built up many different machines in stock ... lol

Looks like the end of the used (imported) electronics (pachinko/pachsilo) market in Europe.
Sounds close to what they're doing in Japan. Glad we don't make anything here!

Hi,

Ordered my last container a few weeks ago as they have to arrive before 1st July and they take about 8 weeks to arrive .... Got some great machines on there though including Top Gun, Rocky, Starwars & Cutie Honey on Pachinko ... + Marilyn Monroe, Crash Bandicoot etc on pachislo... Such a pain from then on i have to order them in 200s ....

At the moment ive got too many,thanks to Steve here at 777Heaven,and its thanks to his hard work and effort to get us all these great machines in the UK.

So to reply to some of our friends across the pond(lol)i don't think its bad news,its bad news maybe if you want to get one in 5 years time.......... !!
