Yes, it's time for Steve to send you a new machine. This is going on two months now! Stop sending parts out as your not a technician. Just send you a tested and working machine and pick up the one you have.

Come to think of it, I know of another machine that Steve needs to send out a proper tested and working model and quit messing around with trying to send parts when he's guessing.

Steve needs to take the loss and replace both of these nonworking machines.

It's all part of doing business and keeping the customers happy. If the first fix doesn't work, replace it. that simple.

One pachinko I got from Slotusa wasn't working, we tried to fix it over the phone, them they sent some parts, still not working.

Then they did a call tag on it and replaced it with a better model for no extra charge.

All this in under a 3 week time period.

    Hi All,

Sorry for my late reply been on holiday for a few days.
I normally replace the machines within 5 days for the UK but when it comes to Europe its a bit of a problem as the cost of picking up a machine and returning it back costs a minimum of £200.00 and for certain countries around £300.00 - customer service to my is priority which is why i am sure you will find many people on here where i have sent out a new machine at no cost to Europe but firstly we try and replace the parts that are causing the problem ..

Of course if this does not work we send a new machine out at no cost ...

In the USA it is different as almost all areas are accessible by road - Hope you all understand ...

    Thanks again

    Steve

Isn't that just the cost of doing business? If you provide a defective unit, and you offer a warrantee, then you should fix the problem within a reasonable amount of time.
Yes here in the US it is a little quicker to get things done, but shouldn't a replacement be sent out within say a month at the most? The world we live in is not as hard to send things around as it used to be. Most packages can arrive anywhere in the world within a week.
Bottom line... It's time to bite the bullet and replace defective machines. Hang the costs involved. Look at one of our members who provides the best pachinkos in the US, he loses on shipping and packaging all the time.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled BS.

Are all of you potential UK and European customers seeing this???

Ok..you guys got me curious as to the Cr error on Sinbad.Since I just got one I
WAS ABLE to get it to do a Cr error!.
here is what did it..bright light from a flashlight into the back of the coin mech.
There is a "U" shaped black plastic cover over the backside of the coinmech.
Try installing a cardboard or craft paper shield over the backside of the entire coin mech.
See if that stops your Cr error. i suspect its from the lights in the front door.

I *highly* suspect if he does this, the problem will go away. Might save a ton of shipping charges and he can play with that new toy.....
To the dealer...maybe check to make sure these Eleco's have that part in them before they ship.???

3 Months to get a satisfactory replacement is NOT what I would expect if I was a customer.

Well said! I will have to say that Steve always tries his best. Sometimes, especially with Pachi's, identifing problems remotely can be extreamly difficult and therefore does take time to resolve. Thinking what the problem may be and posting the parts out across the world does have a long turnaround, especially if the problem is not solved by the replacement part. We must remember that this stuff is not brand new from the electrical store!

I summise that if he sent out a new Pachi for every machine that arrived with a slight fault he would be soon out of business or us UK Pachi fans would have to pay 3 times his current prices so that he can cover his cost! He is still the cheapest UK seller around!

I met Steve for the first time a couple of weeks ago - nice chap! Went up to his warehouse in the UK to pick up a Gamera High Grade. His father deals with day to day technical problems and tests each machine before shipping. His father always takes time out to help you (even at his bussiest times) and will let you have a play with the Pachi's.

We should remember that it is a family business and a helpull one at that. We sould appreciate the problems as I will honestly state that he is no con man and always puts the cutomer first - Yes the problem above did take a long time to resolve - but lets always give people a chance!

Due to the problems with Customs etc, it's always going to take longer to resolve these types of issues when shipping to Europe.

Wrong it isn't a problem custom. I'm in France, it's Europe so no problem.
