Sinbad Adventure Problems !

Hi All,

I have a Sinbad Adventure that does not want to reset etc .. Have checked coin mech + all usual faults - any ideas ?

which error is highlighted ? cant tell from the pic . are you resetting by the door key ? if so hit the button on the inside of the door about half way up the door next to the two side switches it should reset . if not you probably have a token jammed in the coin mech or stuck in the hopper . unplug the hopper then turn the wheel by hand and try to eject a coin if it wont turn you will probably have to open the hopper to get the stuck token or clean the sensor in the chute . same for the coin mech .its hard to tell with out knowing the error code .....

The error code is L1 .. Have tried all the resets + checked for coin jams, all connections etc etc everything we can think of ...

dont know what a L1 is have you tried turning it off and pulling the hopper and turning it on with out the hopper ? you might be able to reset it if its a hopper problem .....

i hope its not a logic error then youll need to swap the main board .

Yes tried that ...

A working light, on the board works on the L2 and L3 slot but not on the L1.
I think there is a problem on the board (perhaps the L1 resistor ?)

Check your reel boards/connections. If you've got a like model, you might swap a reel if possible.

have you tried swapping out the power supply yet ?

i think it may be refering to the le1 led on the main board is it on ? it should be on the mother board middle on the bottom of the board .

i dont think its a reel problem you can unplug them (lights) and still run the machine .if you unplug the reel plug it will run but act like its got a stop button stuck .

Hello,
It's my machine
The problem appeared when i've tried to change the lamp 1 and 3 (they were defective and Steve has sent some new). The lamp are Medal 1 , Medals 2 and Medals3. Only Medals2 was working when i received the pachislot. I have do some tests but I think (I'm not an expert) that's the board where you plug L1, L2 and L3 is out of order. No way to do a reset even changing the lamps, there always this message :scared1:
I hope you have understood me because i'm french and my english isn't wonderful...

unplug the harness to the light board going to the three medal lights . the machine will run with it unplugged normally i checked it out on my hanabi its the sister machine . try it and see if you can reset it .while your in there take a flash light and check if the Le1 led is lit on the mother board .

your English is better than most of my workers .......

I have unplug the card called HS3001-GL and i can't reset it ...
The light called L1 is the only one that isn't lit. Even with a working light i have the same problem.

I'm talking abour the board on the right.
Does it work on your sister machine if you unplug it ?

with that board unplugged the light board is eliminated as the problem . L1 is the socket for medal 1 . thats not want i ment look at the mother board (the big board above the reels on the back of the machine )you'll see alot of red leds the one i want you to look at is at the bottom of the board theres a row of 5 red leds (its just above the 2nd and 3rd reels ) one is marked Le1 is it lit ??????

When you say its not resetting, Are you doing a full reset by turning the reset key inside the game? Or are you just pushing the soft reset button? If you are trying to turn the main door key to the left to reset the game, that doesn't work on the Sinbad.

i see what you mean . i thought it might have the same main board as the hanabi but it looks like it doesnt . they usually have a board with a lot of leds for diag. purposes but i dont see any on in that photo . if it worked before you attempted to fix the bulb problem and then had this problem as a result . i'd try swapping the power supply if you have one available.

Sometimes bords are the same but diferent layout if you know what i mean if they find a problem then they alter it in a later machine of the same style

It does suck but as they say, it's the thought that counts. It's the willingness of everyone to help everyone else as best they can is one of the great things about the group we have here.

Not to mention, we have a fairly high success rate!

well i went to work with 3 hrs sleep last night over this one !!!!! I tend to get engrossed in trouble shooting and cant let go till 2:00 a.m. it hits me in the head .......
