Fortunately our members are aware of the different levels of custom machines. There are some very well done ones, worth the money. And then there are the others.

But I would like to inject a little bit of philosophy here from a good friend of mine. "In the end the only thing that matters is your level of happiness with your purchase. It doesn't matter how much you paid for it or how little. If it fits your needs, then you have done well."

The big problem I have with this ad is the lack of information to the buyer that it's a "custom" and no mention of what the machine was initially. Also mentioning that it is a "VEGAS" slot machine.

You should give your bidders the straight scoop on what you're selling. Shame on you aaapachislo.

I agree with you. Some poeple may think that they are geting some license product from (for example Heineken) but in reality they are geting a $30.00 slot machine with a $400.00 custom glass. Just like all the fake Elvis slots that people sell. We all know that there is only a few companies that licenses slots and IGT is one of them. Imaging what a Heineken lawyer may do it they found out that someone is using there logo without their permission.

Exactly right. The buyer should be told in the ad that this machine was customized. The average uninformed purchaser will think this to be a licensed product.

The sad part is that this guy is a new vendor that has been pretty good thus far. aaapachislo is a member here and should know better than to place an ad like this if he has read the board at all.

Braden seemed to take our suggestions as to his packaging etc., but all this is going to do is hurt his reputation as a straight up vendor. Putting up an ad like on ebay does nothing but hurt future business, and knock him down from quality vendor to the level of fly by nite dealer. It is sad to see.

i sent a message to the buyer of the Continental -Heineken he responded as to how one could tell if it was authentic and i told him an authentic machine was never made . I also identified it as a Continental xxxx by aruze 2001 .will probably send him here if he messages back . I'm sure hes gonna be pissed when he finds out his machine is a 99.00 special with mickey graphics......
