Pachi, Inc. aka shopda on Ebay

Has anyone had any experience with the vendor on eBay called shopda (see link below) the company is actually called Pachi, Inc., out of So. California.

I recently bought a machine on eBay from these guys. It's been a week, and no notification of shipping yet.

I got an unsolicited email from a fellow eBayer warning me that he bought the same listing last month and had received nothing almost 4 weeks later. He later wrote to tell me that he contacted them and settled for a different machine.

They reference American Syscom in their ads

UPS drivers may leave package at the destination unattended without a signature from the recipient. FedEx ground and American Syscom,Inc will not take responsibility for packages stolen after delivery with or without signature. If possible, track package and make sure to accept your package in person for a secure delivery.

However that 866 number they list is not the American Syscom number listed on their site.

Hmm, wonder if this was those ol' boys who just got busted?

I got a Thunderbirds Machine from them 2 months ago got it in 10 days only gripe was it was not clean but worked good and i think i got it at a great price not sure if they are the guys that got busted but seem to be in same town here is a link to the ebay of my machine .http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6249910118

So.....fast forward it's about a week later now, and I did get in touch with these guys. I have to say, It all worked out OK. Of course if I had not been the one making the phone calls and pushing the issue, I'd probably still be waiting for my machine.

When I phoned, I was given a similar story as the guy from eBay who wrote me...."well, the machine you won, we only have one, and I can't get it to work". He asked if there was another machine I would like, and I said....OK, how about Speed Racer. Long story short, I got a nice, clean machine for what would appear to be a nice price tag. Everything works as it should, and I'm happy.

If I were to buy from them again, I would do it direct, as opposed to eBay - only because you could consumate the transaction immediately.
