Man Scoob, that sucks. First I've heard of pulling an item after the auction closed.

About a month ago I had a machine pulled because of the FCC thing. I never got a straight answer from ebay no matter how hard I tried. It was the strangest thing. I ended up just relisting it a few weeks later with no problems.

    Strange.

Certain electronics equipment, including equipment deemed unlawful by government agencies such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), is not permitted on eBay.

eBay will not generally permit the listing of coin-operated slot machines on its website. The sale or even ownership of coin-operated slot machines is regulated or forbidden in a number of states, even for personal in-home use.

Well if eBay is having a problem with selling of slot machines, maybe we can help.

I'll add auction software to our site, and everyone can come here to shop for these decadent machines.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Well Tulsa if eBay don't want to sell em and they give up market share, its wide open for PachiTalk.com. I'm sure it would be a pleasure to buy pachis on this site.

I'm in for some more eBay stock after the last two days of falling prices. It really is over-reaction on some investors' part, imo. Well, a few more share in the portfolio won't hurt.

Looks like a poor choice of wording by eBay?

"Such as" the FCC, meaning the FCC is a government agency.

They might as well have put "such as Homeland Security", and REALLY frightened the sellers.

The FCC doesn't regulate whether pachislos take tokens or coins. Except maybe if you're transmitting the images over the airwaves.

If any agency would give a hoot, I would think it would be the DOJ.

Then again, what if the power supplies aren't regulated they could be emmiting interference which falls under the jurisdiction of the FCC?

Currently, I believe the FCC would say that the person experiencing the interferrence should reposition their antenna.

Should we start wrapping all of our machines in aluminum foil?
(Or should we just wear hats made of it? Nah... I think the only "mind control" attempt here was by eBay)

Will all machines be required to have RF shielding? Only for FCC "approval".
It would be interesting, to say the least, if all pachis would need to be retrofitted with grounded metal boxes or screens, just to sell them on eBay.

    I agree with logicprobe,
Don't let Ebay or any other monolithic monopoly manipulate you mind!! (see what I did there with the 4 M's?). Mind control-BAAD, Healthy free-market society- GOOD, right?

    Kuudo's to happy ending.

Makes me mad! Maybe monopolies might make more money making mases mirthful!

OK, I'll stop (mirthful was a stretch)
