    Default Spidey Ball Return

Ok here is my first attempt at 3 things.
    1) I made a ball return system to return the balls to the front of the machine into a tray.
    2) First time taking a video with the new camcorder and putting on the computer.
    3) I'm gonna attempt to put up here so you guys can check it out.

    Balls on the ramp

    So the videos worked? cool.
I'll tell ya what the biggest pain was. Trying to find the pastic sheets to do it with. Nobody around here has anything like it.
So while I was checking another store for them I came across these:
    129775_front200.jpg
The big ones 19"X15" and those are the type of plastic I was looking for.
SO the underside of the ramp is black/orange and I say so what it works just like I want it to and I don't have to chop up the prototype case.

Right now it's held together with duct tape. I might just leave it that way. Easier than messin with the hot glue gun. I think the trick was making the floor of the ramp all one piece so there were no bumps in the road.

I have been thinking about stuff like this for awhile, (ways of ball return) of course not having a machine has sort of made experimenting a little on the difficult side.. i think youve hit on a good idea.. looking forward to bulding on it..

A better idea would be to channel those balls into the lower ball tray.

The only bad thing about that is the lower ball tray is higher than the ball drop in back.

The key here is that I don't have a cabinet. A cabinet makes this a whole lot easier.

cant say that i have many spare vacuum parts in my collection of things..
but i have always been very good at finding alternative ways of doing something using different materials etc.. so an idea like this kinda plants a seed..
i am sure there will be lots of ideas coming out of this.. maybe others can share their mods with pictures..

i will share as soon as its finished i just need some spare waste pipe for my payout hopper feed
i was lucky enough to find the vacume hose in a friends shed when i was working down there the other day but no waste pipe

i think i would prefer new waste pipe though
My rice krispies told me to do it

you could easily make up a fiberglass version by nailing 2x2 wood together in the shape you want a little filler over the nails then put the fiberglassover the wood and when its dry crack the glass off the wood and you could even paint it then to mach the machine depending on the finish you achive with the firberglass it would almost look factory fit!

Just another idea for the melting pot
