The machine has never worked. The guy I got it from had it in his basement, it was working until one day it didn't. He knew nothing on how to fix anything. The coin return thing, i'm sure doesn't work. I can wire it so it does, but I don't think that's my problem. As far as the reset key goes. What color are the wires that are suppose to go to the key. The key has 3 prongs to solder to. There is 2 on the toggle and 2 on the red push button. Does anyone have a Sammy Machine like this one to compare it to? The bracket looks like the red button and toggle were made that way. Sorry I wasn't able to get on chat. I had to leave to go out to eat. Might be easier to talk in email. nwojedi at hotmail if you can add some insite for me, it would be appreicated.

The question would become then, do you have a pair of wires that currently aren't connected to anything that may at one time connected to that key switch? If this machine worked at one time, there has to be a way to reset it. As this key switch seems to be the only switch available for that purpose the wires have to be somewhere.

where are you located ? there maybe someone near you that can help ...... with out seeing it its hard to tell . these machines dont have battery back up to save their settings and will loose them if left off for an extended amount of time . a reset is all thats needed to restore them at this point and with out the switch its not possible .......

I'm in Wi. Right on The IL boarder. So i'm 30 min from milwaukee and 40 min from chicago. So that toggle and red button arn't standard equipment? If I knew the wire color scheme or could see a picture on a similar model how the key is wired up. I could find a better idea on where those wires went off to.

The toggle to dump the tokens is standard on Sammy machines and the red rocker switch is also standard as it's your power switch. Newer Sammy models have the reset switch just below the power switch on the power supply.

This is where the confusion comes in. This is an older model and that key on the upper left side is unique to us. It should act as the reset as you have to have one but it has to be connected somewhere.

wow, i'm impressed. How do you know about 7 mile fair? If that Upper toggle and red button arn't standard on older sammies, I can start there. It might be setup and rewired differently. If one of you had an older model sammy like this, maybe you could tell me the color wires that are hooked up to your reset key. or what pins and which plug come off the main board to the key. Would be easy for me to track down and rewire or figure out what's going on.
