Tempting but I would probably get lost over there by myself! If i flew to Japan it would have to be 1st class or atleast a seat with a lot of leg room. It's like a straight 24hrs flight from NY

24hrs ??!!!! longest flight i have been on is a 8-9 hour overnight...i would need 2 days of rest in a hotel before going out exploring...

Years ago, Chicago to hawaii was about 10 hours in the air for me.

My feet were swelled up when we landed

Then the big time change threw me off a lot!!!!

guess I will never get to Japan, when I flew to Albany NY from Indianapolis, IN all together it was about 4hrs. and thought I was gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of small spaces and flying doesnt help usually i start breaking a sweat about half way thru. If i transfer to St. John's University they have a program where you spend 2 weeks in Japan over christmas break so ill probably take advantage of that.

That's a great price. I was out on Expedia today and the best price I found RT to/from Seattle for late September was $830 for a direct flight.
