    Default Star Wars and Spiderman!

I had a pretty good week Pachinko wise.(I think) I managed to pull the Spider Man Pachinko off EBay this week that Curt was selling through Texas Auctions. (Sot-Pachinko.com) At what I think was a pretty good price! ($337.00 + $69 shipping). The Spider Man is in the White and Green case not the yellow. I also decided to give David at Imatrix out of Canada a try.(through EBay) I talked with him about his Star Wars Pachinkos. He stated that the case is a light brown. He said it is a Sankyo case however. I know the white case is the way to go, but I really wanted that machine! I also talked to him about PachiTalk. He stated that he is not a member, but he has sold to members in the past and they were pleased with their purchases. I checked other threads for comments on this vendor, but couldn't find anything. At this point the communication is good. He said that he was packaging the item today. I am a little more nervous about this purchase than I am with Curt. Any one ever had any dealings with David that you can share with me or the rest of us? I hope I wasn't to rash with the Star Wars. My wife said we were at a place money wise that we could handle both right now. I didn't want her to withdraw the offer!! (I will update when I get the machine) Tim

When you get support from the wife like that, you've just got to go with it! I don't delay one second if I get so much as a sniff. Congrats on the two new machines, I'm sure the Star Wars will be fun - it will still play well whatever, but I'm sure it'll look great anyway.

Funny you should bring up the topic of David and Imatrix. I too have seen his stuff on ebay and was wondering the same thing. I needed some more balls and Superpachinko does'nt have any extra right now. So I wrote to them and asked david if he'd sell off ebay. No problem 1000 balls for $50.00 CDN. For Canada that's a really good price! Went up to his unit and picked up the balls. They indeed have the machines there. I saw a Bruce lee in the red case (arby's spiderman) and it looks way better than the in the pics. Star wars (white case) Rocky, Thunderzone all really clean and in good shape and a few more machines I'd have to look up in the museum. David was not in when I was there and the chinese guy who got the balls for me did'nt speak english that well so I was'nt there for long. Next time you talk or write to david ask how much more for the star wars in the front office and see if he can figure that out. The balls were good, used japanese parlor stuff, clean and I'am happy. At least you know he actually has the machines, how well they get packed and what UPS or Fedex does to them, well that's a different story!!

The Sankyo Lumina case only comes in red and white so if it's light brown it's been painted or dirty.

I was wondering about that myself, I had only seen the white and red cases.

Light brown Star wars case, smokie pachinko parlour, and a white star wars case. I wonder what they have in common?

    Greetings,
Newbie here, I just purchased a Star Wars (white) from David at Imatrix last week. It arrived last night via UPS. The devils at UPS tried to ruin this machine and almost succeeded--you don't know the power of the dark side! The fact that this machine powered up and is playing is probably a testament to Sankyo's quality and not necessarily David's packing skills (I don't want to frag Imatrix until I get their side of the story). I am currently searching threads to see just how bad the damage is but basically the wood frame was cracked and a component was broken off and unplugged from the back, but after I plugged it back in and followed the instuction sheet...and found the power switch, it turned on and is working (I think) just fine.

So...Yes they are a real company and this machine is really cool, but here's a couple things you should know: Imatrix did not learn their packing skills from Arby; They did not pay the brokerage fees (I got stuck with an unexpected $30 bill from customs). As I learn more I will share.

PS...this site is the best thing in the known universe, thank you to all it's contributor's and your wealth of information.

    Hi Guys,

I purchased a star wars machine from david at I- matrix and it was fine, I have also purchased extra pachinko balls.
The only thing I wasn't happy about was a $25 fee to be allowed to pick it up in person!

So you have to pay to be allowed to collect the item you've already payed for.

needless to next time i may tray another vendor and instead of paying $25 for collecting it I can spend it on more balls!

Remember, Always e-mail ahead of bidding or going to pick up something. If you don't like the pick-up fee, tell them so, but before you pay or bid. I find most sellers will drop the pick-up fee if you push hard enough. Usually they want the sales and are willing to deal. Anyway I'am willing to bet you did'nt pay GST and PST on the machine so you still came out ahead. I picked up 1000 extra balls $50.00 no tax, no pickup fee.

    Cheers,
    James

I tlaked with Curt this morning. The SpiderMan and 2 wall mounts have shipped!! I had a little Pay Pal problem with the Star Wars. Finally made the payment last night. I will obviously need more balls. Any suggestions? Is EBay the way to go? Or, who is most reasonable?
