Speed Racer vs. Thunderbirds

First time poster here. I have a basement full of classic video games at home and I'm looking to add a Pachislo. My brother has owned a few and I've always wanted one, so now's the time. After looking around a bit, I've decided to pick up either a Speed Racer or a Thunderbirds machine. I like the themes of both (as does my 5 year old son) but I was looking for some advise on which one to choose from a game play perspective.

I have played them both and like Speed Racer better. I'm not a big fan of Thunderbirds Blue front with an unfinished cabinet.

I've played both, I think Speed racer has the edge.

The Thunderbirds I have seem have plain unpainted wood cases, but that's an easy fix with some paint and small roller

But, in the end it all depends on who you like better and the looks and play of the machine

Welcome to pachitalk karman.................I do not own the Speed Racer, but do have the Thunderbirds. I would have to go with the gentlemen above and say go with the Speed Racer.

Welcome to Pachitalk, Karman. When in doubt, get both of them and then you can see which you like best. Or maybe you can't. It's a lot like which of your children you prefer.

Speed racer is a blast. Very attractive machine, Great gold chrome, Nice LCD grapcics and is really fun to play! Mine pays off big time!
