I admit that part of the motivation (obviously) was the rare pachislo token auction; I felt (as a pachinko-only person) that the artistry and splendor of the vintage pachinko ball was being unfairly neglected.

I also drew inspiration from the collectible marble listings brought to my attention here on Pachitalk!

But it was only when I discovered my little Kodak digital camera could take a clear picture of the ball (in one try and about 30 seconds) that my mission became clear.

This is also a low-cost education for me about the costs, limitations, and hassle of selling on eBay--I figured I'd learn a little about what many members here are expert at. It's making me more sympathetic to some seller issues...and less so to others.

And I do find these old pachinko balls-uh, Spheres-to be quite cool...
