I'm wondering after looking at LD's pics and your box if maybe it took a solid, wide hit driving the styro into the glass and breaking it. The box could take a hit like that and show little damage if the hit pushed a large surface area into the styro packaging. Most likely a freak thing, but stuff happens sometimes.

It might be in the best interest of Slotusa to kiss this one off and just give it to you rather than pay shipping back and then have to repair the glass.

If that it is what happens, be sure to take pics of your repair to it. Sometimes these types of black clouds can have their silver linings and I'm hoping that is the case for you.

My pachinko purchase from SlotUSA also had the outside glass broken and inside pane chipped at the corner. They sent me two new pieces without any problems. I was a bit dubious that they would arrive intact, but they arrived in perfect condition. Don't email with the problem, they will only ask you to call. Hopefully you'll get it resolved quickly.

I just purchased a Dragon Monkey from Slotusa earlier this week and was happy to find this forum had info on it since the rest of the net seems clueless. I am not happy to see Tulsa's post and now have a bit of worry but I paid the extra 4 bucks insurance they offered. Let's hope I don't have to be the newbie in the group to tell how I had to use it. Everybody please cross their fingers for me. Oh yeah and by the way hello everbody great to meet you guys & I will update upon arrival. Nervousness aside, I'm pretty excited as this is my wife & I's first Pachinko.

Welcome and I wouldn't worry too much. While these things can happen and seem to more often with particular vendors, this one will honor their warranty without too much hassle. If something is not right you can usually get a fix for it and push for 1000 tokens/balls for your troubles if you like.

In this case I just had them send me a new pane of glass, they sent two and I was done with it. Otherwise the machine is fine.

Now you will probably have to pick up some feet for it, while they do send them, I've never seen anything so cheesy in my life. If you're going to put it in a cabinet, the feet are not an issue.
