My oldest daughter has friends that are dating right now and that's how they talk.
The wife asked my daughter if she was looking for a boy friend and she said no she doesn't want to be tied down right now. (She's 15)So I said that's a good thing I don't want to have to kill anybody right now either.
She gave me the evil eye for that comment.
Anyway back to the girls, they sit in the front yard and talk to each other about the boys at school and it was pretty much what I wrote. It was very funny to watch, then when I go out to asked them if they want something to drink they all just start staring at the sky.

Well she finally called me tonight! Yes! After a few days of not hearing anything, I was about ready to chalk it up to a fun night and be finished with it. I probably should have waited but either way it doesn't matter now. I talked with her on the phone for about 15 minutes, she apoligized for not calling sooner but said she was busy with work, ect, ect...She said she would love to go out with me again...We have a date set up for sometime next week, no actual day set in stone, just whenever type thing, but soon. I told her I would take her out anywhere she wanted to go, so she gets to choose. So far so good! I'm looking foward to it and I'm pretty excited.

I agree with Tulsa. Put a little thought into making a fun date. Don't make her feel like she has to be responsible for your entertainment. Try taking her to one of those make your own pottery places where you can you can each show a little about yourselves. The key is to be creative and different but not wierd ( so don't listen to Sid). And then if thigs go well you'll have a momento of your first real date.
