    Default True Holographic Displays?

Ever had an idea that might work. I brain stormed one tonight. On Beast Sapp it has a see through LCD.. what if they used more then one and templated them on top of one another. Say 2 or 4? If they were off set a bit would that not allow the user to see 3D or Holographic images.. In thw current monitors and TV's we see 2D but what if they did that? I am sure that would be the way to go from X and Y to X, Y and Z .. Z is the variable that gives you Depth (hence Holographics). See my avatar it was created by me with a 3D program so why could this not actually be introduced with real holographic imaging based on what I have said.. any comments are welcomed..

What I am saying is ... I think it is possible to come up with a TRUE Holographic display for a Pachilo Machine using multi LCD Screens (one on top of the other) I know this will add depth and make you think the objects are real (as if you could reach into the screen and grab them.. what do you think??

It should work if the positronic wave strength can be infinitely variable so that image depth of field can be maintained at f5.6 or greater. In addition, color palates and refresh rate must function at 2 milliseconds or less to sustain the 3D effect

A rotating shutter similar to that in current DLP televisions would serve as the projection source onto the three plasma gel surfaces. Given the fact that most of the technology already exists, it would be a simple matter to create such an animal; that is, if your R&D budget is about $30 million and you can convince pachi parlors to ante up about $20,000 per game..

On the other hand, check with Arby. He will have the first one in the US.

When can we expect videos, Arby?

I think what he's talking about is something similar to the way Disney used to make his full length cartoons. They overlayed multiple planes of animation, maybe a few inches apart. When looking thhrough them it gave a sense of depth and 3 dimensions. In this case, he's thinking about overlaying multiple LCDs.

It'd be a pretty expensive pachi....but cool though.

That is exactly what I am saying.. I am impressed at how many people agree it can be done this way.. Yes the expense would be high however you know the way it works with supply and demand.. I remember when digital watches made the scene and were over $200 now you can get one at Wal-Mart for .97 cents LOL!
