New to Pachislo/Deal found in SE PA Long

Hi all. New to pachislo and the board. Got my first pair of machines yesterday, which has to do with the deal mentioned in my title.

Was out shopping and went to the 'Larget General Store in America'. Stumbled across these 'slot machines' on sale. Pretty good price too. They had 'weird' japanese writing all over them, 5 reels, lots of lights and noises. The more I looked at them the more I wanted one. But where's the pull-arm? Ahh, gotta use this little knob on the left. Hmm..that's wierd. Why don't the reels stop? Ahh...gotta press the buttons. Well, that's more fun than a 'normal' slot. Before I knew it all my tokens were gone and I knew I wantd one. Badly! Was going to buy one, but the price was discounted if I bought 2, so....

One was $125 and 2 was $200. Thought I had gotten a good deal, but until searching the net for reset info, tokens, etc... didn't really know how good of a deal. They are both made by Aristocrat and are variations of the same game/theme. One is called 'BaseBall Strikeout' and the other is 'Baseball Pitcher'. One is mostly green and the other is mostly red. Except for dirty buttons, a sticky coin slot and a jammed hopper wheel there were no problems. I fixed everything in short order.

Anyways, there were 5 or 6 left as of yesterday. Don't remember the name of the place, but the name on the receipt is Ashley/CJ Quakertown (As the store has an Ashley Furniture integrated into it. Weird? Yes.) on 1025 N West End Blvd. (Route 309) in Quakertown, PA 18951. Phone number is 215-529-0331.

The only things I don't like evidently can't be fixed and are pretty common.

1- Have to put 3 tokens in. What a pain in the &%$#@. Now I have to buy 3x the tokens I would need if it could play with 1 token.

2- Can't change from Credit play. Really would like to hear the tokens drop automatically. I have read mulitple instructions and have tried every way. Man, I love the internet for info.

Hope someone in the area can take advantage before they're all gone. Everybody passing by was eyeing them up.

take about a dozen tokens at a time in your hand and lay them on the coin ramp and just jiggle them in, it's much faster.
or keep a credit of 50 tokens and add 3 at a time to get payouts with your wins.

Welcome! I think you got a good deal. When you factor on what you can pay for shipping you can buy at least one more at those prices. To answer you questions as best I can.
1. Most machines are max bet only(3 tokens).

2. If you want tokens to drop out every win and not have the machine go up to 50 credits just push the credit button on the front of the machine. If you are down to 0 credits the 0 should go away leaving the credit LED's blank.
