    Default Hydro usage

Okay I finally received my Tekken today!!!!!!!! Great machine. Now my wife is worried about the hydro usage. The Neo Planet, Mo Mo Paradise and Tekken are all plugged in and the lights substitute as night lights. Does anyone have any idea as to how much hydr these machines really use. I'm thinking that it would be the same as leaving the computer on all day.

If any of these have a transformer, I wouldn't leave them on all the time for safty sake.

you can feel the transformer to see how hot it is getting.

this has been covered on numerous threads so i won't go into detail but the answer is around 2.0 amps under full max. load . But in idle mode more like .5 amp apiece so i wouldn't sweat it (.5 amp is about the size of the Nintendo transformer probably left plugged in for the last 5 yrs unnoticed) the current draw of a pachislo is around 200 watt under full load the avg computer is around 400 to 500 watt any more . just make sure you have them plugged into a strip with a surge suppressor and circuit breaker built in and if you have a 24 volt machine that required installation of a transformer unplug it and cut the line cord in the machine on the black wire and install a inline 3.0 amp fuse (available at any radio shack ) and you'll be fine (while your looking at the transformer check its max current draw sticker it should be 5 amp or higher if possible and just for your info thats the max load on the secondary and not the load at the wall).follow a few safety rules and the machine is as safe as any other computer driven device.

Personally this is what I would do, scan in a old hydro bill on the computer. Then change the date, meter and all that stuff. Then make the bill for around $750-$1000 . Then when the real hydro bill comes, steam open the envolope and switch bills. Put back in mail box. Go to work and come home and wait for the fun to begin.

basically forging an electricity bill putting it in the Electrical companies envelope and having the wife open it and freaking out when she sees 750 to 1000$ in electricity after the pachi arrived..
