Customizing a Don Don King. Any tips?

Getting ready to pick up a Don Don King and do my first customization.
Are there any sites or tips on customizing out there?

Disassembly of the machine and reels, a template for image layout on the reels, best type of material to print on for the reels, etc etc.

Interested in how people are sticking the newly customized graphics to the reels, best way to remove the original artwork so as not to destroy it, etc

Any and all tips and info would be appreciated.

On the Looney machine, the reelstrips were attached with what looked like a double sided clear tape. So I went to Wallmart and got some double sided tape in the craft dept. near the scrapbooking supplies.

I have to be honest though. I'm the kind of guy who will likely photograph a lot of wha I do and post a step by step type thing.

I hate when I look for something on the 'net and there's little to no info on it. so I usually end up putting some info up myself.

You might also want to take a peek at the Looney Tunes that Lddrizzt mentioned, it was pretty awesome. Some of his graphics overlapped onto the play field and it was a really neat affect.

You are going to have a hard time modifying the belly glass on DDK. It is curved and does not lend itself to an easy changeout.
