Hi everyone, Fighter Pilot here.....

I just popped on here real quick to thank each of you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers; and a special thank you to you Tony, for keeping all my friends here up to date!! The second surgery has been more difficult than the first, and I still have a way to go, but I'll slowly get there.

I talked with my Dr. last night and he said that the seepage didn't sound like anything to be too worried about and that it was pretty normal, but it had me a bit concerned, because I thought I had popped some stichs out or something. I guess I'll know more when I go see him this afternoon.


I know Tony is just as disappointed about all of this as I am, because I should be down there right now and I'm stuck here instead. I don't think I'll be able to go see Tony for three weeks as we had planned, but I'm going to talk to the Dr today and see what his thinking on the whole situation is.

Well friends, I guess I better get off of here and back on the couch and rest for a while. I will try to post an update after my appointment today, but if I don't feel up to sitting at the PC I'll ask Tony to do it for me.

Just think Willy, hopefully in a year's time this will all be a distant memory. It always seem so bad at the time, but that's mostly down to not knowing and fearing the worst. Get yourself a PSP or portable game (don't Nintendo sell a Pachinko game for their portable?!?) and lie yourself down! All the best, Mike.

Just got in from work, and on the phone with Fighter Pilot/Willie.

His appointment went so-so with the doctor today. He has an infection that the doctor gave him an antibiotic for, but was told it isn't that bad. He wants to nip it before it gets too bad. That's the bad news.

The good news is, the doctor moved his toe around and there was no pain, no popping or cracking!

Willie may find out on the 28th, his next appointment, when he may be able to come down here.

He told me that he got the phone calls from Dawn and Sacpinplayer and was absolutely delighted to hear from them! He also said for me to post his phone number here so any of y'all who want to call hopefully will!

Please do call anytime before 10 pm (eastern time). If a woman answers, do not hang up, just ask for Willie.

Good morning everyone!

Well, as Tony said, I had my Dr. appointment yesterday and things went so-so. There is a slight infection in the foot, but I'm on meds for that and it should be nothing to worry about. My pain level is decreasing almost daily now, and I'm starting to feel like myself again. I want to get up and start doing my normal routine, but I know that doing so at the moment may cause another setback (not something I want to do).

It looks like I won't be going back to work until the beginning of May, so I should be able to use that airline ticket to go see Tony for at least a two week visit if things go well. We both were hoping for three weeks, but we will take what we can get at this point.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for the kind words, well wishes and prayers, but I'd be here at the PC far too long for that, so I'm going to thank you all in one post. It sure makes me feel good knowing that I have many friends here. It blows me away to know that so many people care. I'm sure it's been said here many times before, but I'll say it again... The people here on Pachitalk are like family. When I can't get on to see what's happening, I really miss it!!! As most of you know, I got calls from two members yesterday, Dattia and Sacpinplayer, thank you both, It meant a lot to me that you called!!

Well Tony, as far as the three weeks go, that will be up to the Dr. and/or the Airline. If we can get the Airline to do away with the two week flight notice on my credit, we can make it three weeks I think. But there again, the Dr. doesn't think the stichs will be ready to come out for another two weeks.....

I really look forward to going to see Tulsa, that would/will be AWESOME!!!

As far as the overdoing it last time, I really didn't do anything the Dr. told me not to do.

Oh curses! I'm so sorry to hear that fine machine, that was just gathering dust, is no longer in your possession. I was so looking forward to playing it!
