With any luck this summer I will finally be able to build my cabinets for my little babies. I’m taking the plans from here and building something that looks like giant book cases and putting the pachinko machines into them. The trick will be building the ball handling into it so that it will be just like the parlors in Japan. I’m holding off even starting the build until daverob finishes those enhanced dongles. I promise I’ll take lots of pictures during the build and share them here.

Eric show us photos ! I had an idea to put a hand cranked ball lifter between two vintage machines, seems appropriate.

    Hi Mike-
I haven't started it yet! I promise that I'll post photos once I start. I kind of like the idea of a manual ball lifter for vintage machines. That is very fitting.

Wall mount is the way to go if you have the room. But if you build your cabinets right, it can be used as a wall mount or a table top model! These can lift off the wall and be used as a tabletop model with all of the workings up front.

Those look great!!!:biggthump Do have plans to paint the cabinets and are you looking at a way to hide the power cords? I have similar unpainted/stained cabinets and I don't like the way my cords dangle ( no jokes please). I was looking at The Home Depot for some cord track covers but wondered if there is a better way to hide them all together.

The unpainted or unstained look does not bother me at all. All I want to do is play! I was afraid of paint because of mounting them on the wall, side by side, actually touching one another, the paint would probably make them stick together anyway! I am in the process of plugging all of the machines into surge protection strips, then I will hide the cords as good as possible up underneith the cabinets. Still, PLAYING COMES FIRST!
