    Default Pink Panther animatronics

Another question concerning my "new" Pink Panther machine: How often and under what circumstances does the big fuzzy pink panther on the right of the machine wave his arm at us? I have yet to see it move, though I admit I haven't played enough yet to hit the big jackpots. I am concerned that he is kaput. Thanks.

I don't have Pink Panther but I do have Robocop and if Pink Panther is supposed to move as much as Robocop it is not that often.

As I recall, the arm moves when you are either about to hit a chance round or when you enter the round. It is linked to the color of the jewel which also indicates heightened odds of hitting a chance or bonus round.

It does not move very often, but that is just another reason the game is so much fun to play.

Yep I have watched my neigbors Pink Panther animatronic thing and it does just sit there most of the time - but it will move on occasion . But it's movements are nowhere near what R2D2 does on the Star Wars Pachinko Arby sold me !!

Indeed - that sucker moves like he's got ants in his pants. R2D2, where are you going?

I had a pink panther and can affirm what the others have told you... When you hit the fevers or right before a fever you'll see that arm moving up and down usually while the jewel at the type starts spinning as well. Fun stuff that you will see if you hit some fevers....

Thanks all! I have to admit that my previous pachinko experience was with the older purely mechanical machines from the 60s and 70s. I will plug away at the Pink Panther, though I am clueless about the scoring progressions. The only significant reference I've found on this machine is on the Fuji-Shoji website, but that didn't Babelfish into English too well. Searching Pachitalk hasn't brought up too much. Any other good sources?
