Default Round and Shinny does not always a pachinko ball make

Last night I was working on a pachinko machine and discovered the reason why the machine kept jamming.

Deep down inside the machine close to the payout motor was a small hearing aid battery. Looks like someone dropped it down one of the win pockets and it got pushed and rolled along for a ways until it got stuck causing a traffic jam.

Other things I've found inside machines....
    Dimes
    Pennys
BB the kind you shoot out of guns
    Shotgun pellets (#8s I think)
    Ball Bearings
Little red and white plastic balls (Lots of them)

These are just a few of the more interesting things.
Anybody discover other treasures inside a machine they are cleaning up.

Now how did that get in there?

I guess the noise from the machine must have gotten to him so he/she took out the battery from the hearing aid and it made its way into the machine via the ball intake

    interesting find however.

My vintage machine quit working years back. I didn't mess with it for several years (this was before pachi-addiction...). I finally tore the mechanisms that pay out the balls all apart and cleaned them, etc. Found one of my daughter's small Lego parts hidden in there. She must have stuck it in the upper tray when she was a baby. (Let this be a warning to you, Lucky...)

I only have one machine, my vintage, but I had to completely restore it and found the usual stuff: dead bugs, miscellaneous plastic filings and debris, lint, a single totally rusted out pachinko ball, and a couple unrelated screws.

In a vintage machine, if you look inside the shooter spring, there is usually a piece of Japanese newsprint. I assume to dampen the spring.

    Well, let's see....

numerous styro peanuts from well-meaning shippers....

a purple plastic ball from the child of the previous owner....

broken pieces of plastic housing caused by someone using too large of a screw to secure a cover....

small metal screws too small for the hole which just fell into the ball trough...

    That's about it.
