    Smile Ebay and Paypal

    I won and paid with Paypal for some video games the 9th of Feburary, the guy has been giving me all kinds of excuses why i haven't got my package.

    You have 30 days to file a disbute with Paypal, which I just did, all of a sudden the guy says the package was returned and he was reshipping.

    Paypal will lock up his $38.00 till its resolved

    so, remember if you have a disbute with Paypal to file within 30 days

    another thing to note with paypal;
    my wife (and as easily could have been me) was ripped off using paypal to pay.
    If the seller cashes out his account before the complaint...as this seller did, you have no protection. EBAY/paypal (same owner BTW )SUCKS!

    Way to go lucky!!........I love paypal. In fact, I will not bid on an object unless they except paypal. It has saved me a couple times. And like lucky, I have resorted to having their money locked to resolve an issue. And magically the problem was resolved overnight.

    A Note to Sellers accepting PayPal. Only ship to person with a Confirmed address, and Only ship to that address. Buyers can reverse payment for no reason after the item has shipped. I learned the hard way a while back and took a loss. They got my item and got their cash back. Since the item was not sent to the actual confirmed address with paypal I had no recourse. Live & Learn. Thing my father found out the hard way is no matter how much of a pain in the rear it is, always obtain a tracking number. one person bought 15 clock repair kits over the course of 28 days and it costed like 70-80cents each to ship, although dad sent them to a confirmed pay pal adress the guy filed claims on every single one of them. Might not seem like much, return 3.50+shipping, but not only did he lose 15 clock kits, he also lost over 52.50 + shipping. So now he goes through the extra trouble and charges an extra .50+ to have a delievery conf. #. And wanna know something that would burn anyone's arse????? 3weeks after everything was said and done dad recieved an undisclosed email. saying something to the effect of thanks for the clock kits and refund sucker!!!! But according to pay pals bs, there was nothing they could do since it was past a certain time frame and he was no longer a registered user. THis was about 2yrs or so ago, so hopefully paypal has straighted up....

    I do delivery comfirmation on everything i ship to cover myself,

    now paypal only allows you to file 3 disbutes a year, that prevents people taking advantage of you,

    I don't use Paypal anymore, I had an account with them, but did not use it much and I used to get an email from them telling me they will lock my account unless I sign on. I did that for a few times then I said forget it, they cannot be serious. Hmmmmm they were serious. I am blocked and they will not undo it so I did set up an account in hubby's name but I haven't used it yet cuz I am not sure they deserve my business. I kinda thought Ebay and Paylpal were the same but Ebay is great with me and I even have where they owe me some money. I just rarely use it to sell so the credit has been there over a year now.
    When I do buy from Ebay usually I can buy with my credit card, but if not then money orders from the bank are always free and easy to get too.
    Paypal is just something that makes me go hmmmmm.

    Before they were paypal they were X.com or something like that. And they were really bad then. I had a problem with them and their customer service was some womans house in Kansas. You called there and she took a message and fwd it to the people that actually ran the comapany. Took me almost 5 months to get $300 that was credited to the account after they were closed down and sold to paypal.
