How to Reload during a payout?

I just won a big pot in my Neo Pharoah Zetz but didnt have enough tokens in the hopper (machine only came with 450 and my order for more is due today) When I reset the error, the win was gone. How can I maintain the win when reseting during the middle of a payout, when the hopper runs out of tokens?

Some machines will reset the Hopper Out error by turning the front door key to the left. (Of course you will have to add more tokens first.) If that doesn't work on your machine, you'll have to do a full reset and lose your payout round.

Once you get enough tokens, hopefully this will become a non-issue for you. Trying to play with only 450 tokens makes it tough.

most machines can be reset by the door key turned the other way or by a switch on the door its known as a soft reset the same reset as you'd use for a token jam . if you do a full reset youll loose the win for sure . a word of warning once reset on the machines with a switch on the door the hopper starts ejecting tokens before you can shut the door dont' be caught at eye level or youll get a face full tokens not to mention a mess on the floor .....

Yea!!! The tokens have arrived!!!!! Thanks for the help guys. I will check for a soft reset switch on the door. The key to the left in the door didnt reset when I tried so I had to do the full reset which is why I lost the payout of course.

1st off, don't let it run out of tokens. Open the door and put some in when it starts to sound different, or when the pile in front is the right size. If you stop right when you hit the BB, open the door and put all the tokens inside, usually you'll be OK to the end of the bonus round.

Sometimes the soft reset is on the power supply. I've never had anything bad happen by pressing the wrong button (except tokens on the floor )

and let me tell you from expierence, when those tokens start flyin out at you hitting you in the face, its a real attention getter. actually kinda hurts, especially if they hit your temple. had about 12 hit me in the temple and I was seeing stars.

When I get a bonus round I usually take the tokens from the first of the 3 bonus rounds and dump them in hopper, then finish it up.

Most of my machines have 1,000 tokens.

And one other word of advice...
Don't ever, EVER open the door with the payout tray full of tokens!

Unless you have the machine bolted to the table or chained to the wall!!

this is great advice ,but i wouldn't recommend opening the door with a tray full of tokens at anytime bolted or not . get a bowl and empty at least half out first . a tray full of tokens is a lot of excess weight on the hinges and door i have popped my door off the hinges at the top once by doing that will never do it again . was a pain in the a** to get back on ..

The next time you run out of tokens using your Yamasa Neo Pharaoh Zetz machine, just fill the hopper and press the odds changing button located on the inside of the door This button acts as a soft reset also, this way you won’t lose your credits.
