Default "Traditional" - THUNDER V (original) or NEO PLANET T?

    Hello board members!

I would like to solicit comments and/or thoughts from some of you familiar with a couple of models. I want to get the most "bang for my bucks" in terms of visual apperance, playability, cost, etc., hence the following:

I am looking to purchase a "traditional" (i.e. reels with fruit, "7", melons, BAR, etc.) as you may have noticed in my previous post here. I am leaning toward THUNDER V (original) or perhaps a NEO PLANET T, as they both have the "traditional" look.

First, I would like to know if anyone has a video of the THUNDER V and/or a manual that is accesible via the web? I have found these for NEO PLANET T but not THUNDER.

Second, is NEO PLANET T a "MAX BET" only machine, or like THUNDER, can you play 1, 2 or 3 medals in it?

Finally, for those of you either familiar with or owning both of these machines, which would you recommend to me and why?

I understand that we are comparing apples to oranges, but each machine is certain to have their own "pros and cons". Please keep in mind that these are for my familys entertainment (Primarily my 5 year old sons and I! The wife could care less! Ha Ha!).

Thanks to each of you in advance for your honest and detailed answers.

    Token

    Token,
I can offer a bit of insight on the "Neo-PlanetT"
My first and only machine ( at this point ). Loved it imensley since the day it arrived. Friends and family that have played it share the same love. ( friend bought one the day after playing mine)
One comment that you will hear over and over around here is THEME THEME THEME... Chances are, if you like what it looks like on the outside, you will enjoy it in action. Have a look in the Muesum for videos of the games in action...If you cant find them there, try bigbearpachisloshop.com Gaku has a very extensiive video library there. Personally I can't say enough praise with the Neo-PlanetT
Great technology , sound effects , stereo sound, and playability for not alot of money...
    My two tokens.

Never under estimate that a 5 year old would not want to play pachislo. My 3 year old grandson and my 12 year old daughter on Christmas day did not play with a single gift that they just opened for 4 hours till we turned off the Baseball boy pachislo that my wife got me

Neo PlanetT by a Landslide. Thunder V is about the lamest pachislo I own. It never gets played. Neo PlanetT was the 1st one I bought and still one of my top to play. The reels are Very Colorful and the Music is Great. Neo PlanetT Rocks !!! Mike : )

I'd wait for Planet 999, they are all over YJA right now so I'm assuming they should be arriving here shortly

I agree with VGC, the music is great on the PlanetT!
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

appears to be the same machine to me and I like the original color scheme better. Also the original will probably be cheaper the purchase. Mike : )

it's close to the same, they changed up a few graphics and added some new gameplay features.
