Pachislo Stickers, live with them or without them?

I'm just curious what people do about the "official" stickers you find on the belly glass of many of the Pachislos.

I have received a couple machines now with a green and white sticker with plastic face and the numbers 1,2,3 down side, and a gold andblack sticker with a large stylized A/M on it. I'm assuming these have somethign to do with licensing and regulations (or distributors). There's usually other "information plates" underneath the belly glass or in the coin tray, but the ones I'm talking about are stuck on to the belly glass after the fact.

I have found that M.G. Chemical's Saftey Wash which is a blend of alcohols used for cleaning and degreasing electronics, works wonders at taking sticker good off the plastick belly glass, by the way.

I'm wondering if you take them off to clear up the belly glass (I did this on my King Camel), or leave them on for authenticity sake?

I leave them on unless they are are really scarred up and in bad shape. Some vendors do pull them off even before you get your machine, unfortunately.

If I have to remove stickers, I use a product called "Goo Gone". Works real good and has not caused any damage to anything I have used it on.

Its kinda like the labels on the mattress that say do not remove by penalty of law .......keep all the original stickers on!! That way if the mattress police or the Japanese gaming authority come bustin down the door i am safe!

If I think the machine has value as a collectible, I leave them on. If the serial number is 6857586958577 or higher , I clean the sticker off to make the machine look cleaner. I generally remove all the stickers from the machines I sell.

Without thinking about the authenticity (which is unusual for me) I took them off my King Camel because the reel glass is interesting and one of the stickers squarely covered the King Camel flag. However, the day that "authentic" King Camels start selling on eBay for $910, then I will cry the blues that I removed them.

On my games, I remove the ones that block any of the artwork on the belly glass. The ones off to the side I left alone. I also use goo gone works like magic.

I have never removed any. If they were in bad shape or covered something that I wanted to see I would take them off. All my stickers have been the ones in the right and left lower corners. If it was a spacial machine with a low serial # I would try to fix them.

I took all of mine off, the real important stuff is on the tax id tags, like the serial #'s that are built into the belly glass design pics

There goes your retirement. We all "collect" these because they be worth millions some day right?
