Who makes the best quality machine? NET or IGT?

I got my first NET machine (SBJ Rio) and I'm very impressed in the quality of the machine itself. I give NET the edge in quality over IGT, and I'm curious what others think about this.

That depends on whether you're talking about game play as an element of overall quality, or just the physical quality of the chassis. From a chassis perspective IGTs aren't that much better than the average pachislo.
I too just got my 1st NET machine (SBJ also) and I have to say that it is very nice chassis. This NET and my Olympia split-door chassis are my two top picks for quality of the hardware

Yes, I was refering to the physical quality. Although the gameplay on the SBJ is great I don't know If I could compare it to SL

I went with IGT, mainly because my NET machine is an older one. Actually, it's really a toss-up.

I did vote IGT because I love my Dragon Dice and REALLY LOVE the Harley machine. The IGT gameplay is clearly superior, imo. NET makes one heckuva a solid machine, though and it's quality very well might be better.

I would have to say that after the pounding,(:boxing poor packaging and the rough treatment of UPS( ) the NET machines are pretty solid. I got my SBJ a week ago and it's held up to the hype!:biggthump

For physical quality of how the pachislo is built net is the best hands down. If it is game play then IGT is the best. I am disappointed with the physical quality of IGT machines. Matter fact I think they are built rather cheaply! Other manufactures do a better job. You have pros and cons to all manufactures though. Take yamasa, better built machine but are terrible with there loud reel noise. Sammy the Sammy squeal. IGT great game play but simple things like there built in volume controls suck! You just touch them and you get a lot of static. They are fine for a while then you will get a small static noise. You open the door and just touch the volume control and you can make it stop for awhile. Nets best built but other than a few really good machines seem to have a lot of so so machines in game play wise. This may be just my opinion though. This goes on and on.

I'm glad someone else has that static problem, I noticed it last night on the SL. had to touch it like you said to get rid of the static.

Yes vary annoying! But you have to take a little of the bad with such a great machine.

not to hijack this thread, but on both my dragon dice and my spin luck, I've found that switching the volume switches back and forth several times (with the machine off!) with pressure on the switch seems to clean the contacts and take care of the static. Then don't touch them ! My Dragon Dice has been static free for about a year, and my spin luck since the day I brought it home and "cleaned" the switch contacts.

I did that exact same to my Spin Luck to clear it up. It will still act up now and again but simply sliding them takes it away.

As far as build qaulity, Net is the best. As far as playability, IGT is the best. Now if the IGT designers would only get with the NET engineers...

Net is built much better than IGT. Then so Is Yamasa which is very close if not even with net!

I am stumped!!!!!! the poll is at 50/50.. I would love for the members that chose IGT to go point for point on the quality of build and show me where
