I Got My Balls, I Got My Balls!

I couldn't resist typing that title..........

I just won two auctions for 1,000 pachinko balls on ebay.

The seller said I could combine shipping so it seems like I did ok on price.

83.23 Total with Shipping for 2,000 balls and 1 tray.
I had to pay 7.75% tax because seller is in California.

So ball price after shipping and tax: 4.16 per ball

Questions:
Have any of you purchased from Goldenstatetraders1 on ebay?
If so what kind of quality of balls should I expect?
Did I get a reasonable price on the balls?

If you search back a way on the forums there are a few comments on golden state traders balls. If I remember correctly they are all positive.

Goldenstatetraders1 used to be a member here. (Still is actually, but hasn't been around for awhile.) The balls I and others purchased from him last year about this time were excellent quality.

I bought 25K balls from Walt last year and they were outstanding quality. Shipping was fast and packing was good as well

Purchased 1K and 2K balls from goldenstate in 2 seperate auctions.
They always came quickly and were in good condition.

That's good news; I won 2k in one auction, and with $10.50 shipping it came out to almost exactly what you paid, SChaos, except without the sales tax. ($84.85)

So glad you and I both got what appears to be a very reasonable price especially if you check the "ended" auctions.

Ive seen the balls go for as much as 85 for 2,000 pre shipping.... For me thats a significant increase with a California seller... that would be $102 after tax and shipping for me....

So I can't complain! and I even got a tray.... that's a bonus hehehehe

Yep. It's always a consideration when there's a killer ebay goin on whether or not to tell everybody, because it really does drive the price up. Depends what the item is, though. If it's tokens or balls, they're common. If it's a one of a kind machine, then that's a little different. The buyers want to get it as cheap as possible, and the sellers want to at least get a fair price.
