Right off the weather station here at the house. Right now we are at a balmy four degrees, but it was a bit colder earlier today...

Arkansas --- supposed to be the sunny south. 19 with a windchill of 6! Freezing rain predicted for today, and I'm supposed to work. Egad!

And this is an example of how it works.

Thanks again, Tulsa! It sure cleans up the board!

I didn't have to worry about the cold yesterday (Sat). In bed all day with the 24 hour flu! Didn't even check in on the board thats how bad it was. Feeling better today. Went out to get a soda from the fridge in the garage and the soda was frozen!

We think we have the "rings" figured out. We think they indicate accumalated spins. However, I have noticed that those rings don't seem to match the "eyes" that are displayed in the High Res LCD. Further, when I drop a ball directly into the machine I get an extra eye but not an extra lit up ring here... OH THE MYSTERIES ABOUND!

    Figure C:
Ah, the never changing double zero "00" ring. In the bottom right of my LCD you can see a GOLD ring with "00" indicated on the RING as shown in figure C. Have any of you ever seen anything but a "00" on that ring? Not me... Do tell???
Well, I can help you out a bit on A... more on B... and little on C.

"A" symbols can be found on just about all pachinkos... X and O. They toggle back and forth when flipper openings (those fingers on the start pocket) are normal... and seem to stop on the O just before the flippers open. As if you could time it... LOL.

"B" is NOT the spin bank on the LOTR, but rather the flipper opening bank. You add to that with a ball through the pocket that banks flipper openings, not spins.

"C" is a mystery to me too.

Hate to put the thread back on topic, but thought that should be corrected.
Yes... it's cold enough here to worry a brass monkey.

The ring puzzle...The small ring in the bottom right of the display monitor has me perplexed as well. I can offer this bit of information. IT DOES CHANGE!

During play, Mine says --. The -- changes when I win a fever. If you watch carefully, you will see it too. After Gandalf launches the rocket, the three characters come swooping down and the rings "twinkle". that is when a number appears in the ring on the bottom right. I have seen 44 when Gimly wins, 77 when gandalf wins, and another number for Arwin. I'm not sure what these numbers mean, but I can tell you that it has nothing to do with the amount of balls you win in the Fever, or how long the fever will last. It's been different everytime.

I hope this helps with the ring mystery...if anyone has any thing new to add. Please post it.

    Thanks
