Good places to buy gear?
Hi all,
So... I am in the market for a new AVR with HDMI in/out and almost pulled the trigger on a Pioneer Elite VSX-23 but the place I was going to buy from bumped the price up twice in 3 weeks and while it is still a deal it had me back to looking around to see if anyone is cheaper. I have tried the usual online places, but most of them are right around MAP pricing...for example the VSX-23 was in the 630-799 range online but the store in NY that does not sell online had it for 510 back in Nov, then bumped it to 560 last week then up to 600 this week so a $90 change in the + direction was enough to send me back looking for a better deal. I have looked at Marantz, Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, and other Pioneer and this was the best bang for the buck but I would be open to other ideas... |
