Just released in the last week a Free Video on demand player Free when you prepay $99.00 for 25 movies after that no monthly fees, no commitment , just pay 1.99 to 3.99 for each movie .

I ordered one will give a review when I receive , It seemed like a good fit for me because I find it inconvenient to return the rentals , and dont like the fee per month from the cable company for a VOD box

I had one of these on demand movie programs here.. yes its very convenient.

but if your internet connection is flaky your gonna have problems..

This one uses progressive playback most other services like netflix use streaming media.this one should greatly improve problems with slow of flake connections. but who knows i may just have me a 8X8X1 door stop

Dont get me wrong its a great service.. you see what you want when you want it and no returning the damn thing.. its the one thing i always hated about finding a movie.. the wait to find the movie if the one you wanted to see was in. and then the wait to return the thing..

good luck..

but you got to admit it sure will make a pretty doorstop if you do end up having to use it for that

I like Netflix...The only problem is that although there selection is quite large, I am running out of things I want to see.

I'm starting to rent classics now...One good one is "The Trian" with that old dude in it. I can't remember his name...it has to do with hijacking a nazi train. Good Movie!

Nexflix has a broader variety of movies available

come movies you wouldn't normally be able to find.

Its for both i do have cable they just charge me extra $6 for the box even if i dont use it

The cable companies on demand selection is usually available about a month or two after it's released on DVD. This is supposed to be a little more in line with DVD release dates. I read on the site that they expect within 30 days it will be available. I'm not going to get one because I usually buy the movies I want at release, and the movies I don't really want will be on one of the movie channels soon enough for me.
